Steven Daily ‘22 bowls during a meet last season. Daily has lots of bowling experience when it comes to bowling. He began bowling seven years ago in seventh grade, at League at 30 Lanes bowling alley. “Bowling is fun, and you are usually independent, so you have to practice endlessly,” Daily said.

Passing time can be hazardous with the risk of COVID-19. Principal Williams has made it a point of interest to keep the students as safe as possible throughout the day. “With the COVID, I wanted to limit that extra movement. We’re already back, it’s already kind of new, and then you throw in an advisory, that’s a whole brand new group of kids that you have to worry about contact tracing,” Williams said.

Arnold wasn’t always sure about what he wanted to be growing up. He wanted to be a teacher, but did not originally plan on becoming a science teacher. “Early on I thought I wanted to [be a teacher]. I wanted to be a history teacher actually when I was in my early twenties, but I just was a little misguided,” Arnold said.

In addition to their state competition the dance team danced at halftime for basketball and football games. “One thing I really enjoy about the dance team is our basketball season. It’s always so fun when we are in the hallway practicing before we go out because I get to hang out with my best friends.
