West faces the Knights at Assumption

On Tuesday, Dec. 12 boys basketball faced the Assumption Knights at Assumption. The freshman game was 58-38 with Assumption winning. The sophomore game was 66-37 with West winning. The varsity game was 45-44 with West winning.

Highlights
Freshmen: In the third quarter, freshman RJ Molloy stole a pass from the Assumption offense, making a fast break and scoring a lay-up to add to West’s score.
Sophomore: In the second quarter, the Falcons took hold of their lead over the Knights and soared to win by 29 points.
Varsity: In the fourth quarter, with a few seconds remaining, junior Malik Westerfield shot a two-pointer which ended up winning the game for West.
