Humans of West: Cassidy Kengott

“The thing I want to improve most about myself is my self-confidence. I think everybody can always improve their self-confidence, and it is always good to feel good about yourself, so I am just really focusing on that right now,” Kengott said.

What is a quote or saying you live by?

“Nobody is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. Those mistakes will teach you life lessons that will benefit you in the end.”

What motivates you?

“My future motivates me because there are endless possibilities, and I could be anything that I want to be. I want to be a family practitioner.”

What advice do you have for high schoolers or life?

“I would say take every chance that you get and do not underestimate yourself in what you can accomplish in both life and high school. I would not have thought that I was going to be in Student Senate or a senior class officer if you told me that. I just stuck to my guns and did what I wanted to do.”

How would you spend your last day on Earth?

“I would spend my last day on earth probably eating all kinds of food or traveling the world and doing bucket list things. The three top things on my bucket list are to become president, go skydiving and to have a family.”
