Q: How does it feel to be a senior?

“It feels like high school went by really fast. We can move on from high school now and continue to study in something we’re interested in.”

Q: What are you planning to do post-high school?

“After high school, I plan to attend the University of Iowa and major in health and Human Physiology.”

Q: Who was your favorite teacher?

“My favorite teachers were Mrs. Sheehey, Mrs. Jensen, and Mr. Whittemore. I got along with them really well.”

Q: What was your favorite class?

“My favorite class was band because I met a lot of people who I’m really close friends with now, and everybody’s friendly.”

Q: What was your favorite school year?

“Freshman year because it’s more exciting going into a different school. You meet a lot of people and it’s just really fun.”

Q: What was your favorite school memory?

“Going to Florida for the band trip. My favorite thing I did in Florida was ride roller coasters. We [my friends and I] bought ponchos because we were going to get wet on the rides with water and one of my friends, Trent, put the poncho on, but he still got soaking wet.”

Q: What advice do you have for people entering high school or continuing it?

“Don’t let other students influence you to do bad things or distract you from your work. Focus on your studies because that’s your future.”
