Brimming with high energy and intensity, the freshman volleyball team took a satisfactory win over rival Assumption in one of last night’s sets.

“We had a couple plays that got us down, but we got our energy right back up,” libero Hannah Taylor said.

After a week of no practice, the team anxiously returned to the court to secure a victory for the Falcon name.

“Our team chemistry is really good. We get in some arguments but once we get back into things we combine very well together,” setter Mackenzie Harland said.

The girls went to three games in the following set, but lost by four points in the third game.

Final scores were 25-13, 25-18 for the first set and 25-22, 25-17 and 15-11 for the second set.

“All in all, I am very happy with the girls and how they played. We had great energy,” Coach Tish Raes said.
