At the girls home basketball game against North Scott on Feb. 2, members of the Diamond Dancers took part in a heartfelt farewell to four seniors. Those honored were:

Ciara Klinghammer

Mckenzie Seymour

Tatiana Stepanek

T’Reaia Malone

The team took part in performing their hip-hop routine at the halftime of the varsity girls game. However, the season is not quite over for the girls. The dancers have yet to perform their senior dance, which showcases the seniors and their last performance. The four seniors leaving this year helped guide the team to success.

“They [the seniors] had goals for this year and they really kind of set those goals and helped our team get where we need to be this year,” head dance coach Samantha Zust said.
