Boys basketball team hits the court

West plays against Dubuque Senior here on Dec. 1. The Falcons lost 57-51.

At its first home game on Dec. 1, the boys basketball team started out strong, leading Dubuque Senior by 32-24 at the half.  However, Senior’s full court defense forced some Falcon turnovers, and Senior got hot in the third quarter, outscoring West 20 to 9, to defeat West 57-51.

Kenny Clay led West with 13 points.  Keaton Rommel and Davarea Loggins contributed 10 points each. The Falcons play Clinton High here on Dec. 10.
