As the new school year rolls around so does new teachers, one of them being Brett Deneve. Before coming to West, Deneve was a gym teacher at Williams Intermediate, however he is now a redirection teacher. This will also be his 15th year of teaching.
Deneve previously taught at West, and is looking forward to being back, “It’s like being welcomed back home, I adore the students and staff here. I just all in all love teaching here at West. I’m so glad to be back, and I’m so excited for the rest of the upcoming school year,” Deneve said.
Some things he enjoys doing outside of school include golfing. He enjoys playing with his friends and also with family, they go quite frequently. Deneve also said, “I enjoy staying active while also hanging out with the people I care about.”

Reiggan Molloy is a junior and this is her 2nd year on staff. Outside of newspaper, she is a member of the West Diamond Dancers and also does travel softball. She enjoys spending time with friends and reading. She is very excited to be a part of staff this year, and to contribute her writing into the Beak ‘n’ Eye.
