A new security guard has landed in the nest. Spencer Cook was one of the many new members who joined the West staff this year. After being a security guard in the Davenport Community School District already, he is adjusting quickly. “I came from Sudlow Middle School, and I have been a security guard for seven years,” Cook said. One of the many benefits for staff at West are the great connections they make with the students. Getting to leave an impact on students truly can be the highlight of the job. “West has been great so far and I like the students a lot,” Cook said. Keep an eye out for him in the halls and give him a West High welcome!
