Heather France joins us from Muscatine as an English teacher. Due to job cuts in that district, we are lucky to have France join the Falcon Nation. With 25 years of teaching experience, France is excited to be here and has been enjoying her time so far. The biggest challenge she has faced is the change in technology. Unlike Muscatine, which uses Apple products, our school uses a different set up that included three monitors, which has been a challenge adjusting for France. France is familiar with an eight period schedule, making the transition for students much smoother as she believes they are adjusting well, only occasionally forgetting which period it is. Outside of West, she enjoys watching football and spending time with her daughters. France is a proud graduate of the University of Iowa and we welcome her to our community here at Davenport West.
