Q: What is your favorite West High memory?
“A bunch of my favorite memories were at the football games- being there with all of my friends, cheering the team on together. It didn’t matter if we won or lost, we were a family and supported them.”
Q: What class did you enjoy the most at West?
“My favorite class has honestly been AP Chemistry. We have been together throughout the whole year and we have come to be sort of a family. AP Chemistry has shown me my love for science.”
Q: What are your plans after graduating high school?
“I plan to attend Iowa State for pre-vet. Afterwards, I hope to go on and receive my doctorate in vet medicine.”
Q: What advice do you have for underclassmen?
“My advice would be to not rush it. Enjoy your time here and don’t think you are ‘too cool for school’. Take your time to have some school spirit and be yourself.”
Q: What teacher had the most impact on your high school education?
“Mrs. Jensen has had the most impact on my education. She is my AP Chemistry teacher and has helped me understand stuff and really brought out my love for chemistry and science.”
Q: What are some of your accomplishments while attending West?
“I just received a full-tuition scholarship to Iowa State as well as many other scholarships that are going to bring my college fees down to close to nothing.”
Q: What clubs were you involved in here at West?
“I am a part of Leo Club as well as WINGs. I am proud of my commitment to these clubs and enjoyed my time in being apart of the experience.”
