Fluffy, this is something you often hear a dog or a cat called. Well what about a comedian? Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias is a world renowned comedian. He is well known for being a fat comedian, but he isn’t fat, he’s fluffy. That’s where he gets his nickname from. One of his most popular bits is what he calls the 5 levels of fat which are Big, Healthy, Husky, Fluffy, and the last one which has been edited for younger audiences is Dang (Damn).

“My favorite bit he does is the racist gift basket. He had a comedian friend who is black who he decided one day to do a practical joke on because he was in town. He decided to go to the store and get a gift basket with the most racist things imaginable. The gift basket had things like fried chicken, watermelon, and kool aid. These are all things that are all stereotypically ‘Black’. The punchline of the whole joke is that the comedian thought it was just lunch time,” junior Mason Morgan said.
He has videos that get upwards of 25 million views. With his clips being so recognizable he absolutely HAS to be rich right?
Fluffy is one of the most successful comedians in the world. He earns anywhere from $300,000 to $500,000 per show. With a net worth of over $50 million dollars it’s very easy to see how successful he is. His current tour “Don’t worry, Be fluffy” has 34 show dates remaining going all the way into September. This tour has gone all around the world. Maybe you could be lucky enough to go to one of these shows.
