The first blood drive of the year is Thursday, Sept.10, during first through third block. Sign ups are still going on, with the blood drive committee going around and assisting students to sign up online.  The committee will deliver appointment cards on Sept. 9. If you do not receive yours go to room 229 or 119 and tell Mrs. Leitz or Mrs. Jensen.

Important things to remember: 

• Always get a good night’s sleep before you donate.
• Eat breakfast; It doesn’t have to be a big breakfast, maybe some cereal and orange juice.
• Come prepared with your student ID, and just relax and remember that it’s all about having fun and saving lives.

The school plans at least three more blood drives this year in December, February, April. Dates will be announced closer to time.
